1. How to request deletion
In the Gaga app, open your profile, go to Account and Security, then choose Delete Account. Review the notice and confirm Delete My Account to start deletion.
2. Web deletion request
If you cannot access the app, send an account deletion request to [email protected]. Ask us to delete your Gaga account and associated account data. Include the phone number, sign-in method, or other account identifier linked to the account. Do not send passwords, payment card details, or sensitive identity documents unless we specifically request them through a secure process.
We may need to verify that you control the account before processing deletion. If you have multiple accounts, identify each account you want deleted.
3. 30-day pending period
After you submit the deletion request, the account deletion process starts and your account is placed in a deactivated state. The pending period lasts 30 days. During this period, the account may be inaccessible and other users should not be able to interact with it normally.
4. What is deleted
After the pending period, we delete or anonymize account data associated with your Gaga account, including profile information, account identifiers, matching history, and other user data where deletion is technically and legally possible.
5. What may be retained
Some data may be retained for a limited period where necessary for legal compliance, safety investigations, security logs, fraud prevention, dispute handling, payment or tax records if paid features later launch, or enforcement of our Terms and Community Guidelines. We may also keep anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.
6. Canceling deletion
If you change your mind during the 30-day pending period, contact support promptly from the same account email or phone number. After permanent deletion is completed, restoration may not be possible.
7. Support fallback
For deletion status, access problems, or privacy questions, contact [email protected] or [email protected]. We will process verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
